The truth about duplicate content

I was just watching a webinar and I got so frustrated because the people giving the webinar kept saying that if you place the same article on multiple sites you will get a penatly from Google. This is so not true. Never has been. So I went and found a video to help everyone understand what the whole duplicate content thing is really all about.
